Year of the cat… :)))
I’ve decided that this year will be „the meow cat year” for me! This idea has been on my mind for some time and decided that now is the time. Although the next Year of the cat in the Vietnamese zodiac will be only in 2023, I do not have time/patience to wait until then! Al Stewart’s song of the same name,„Year of the cat” was decisive for my decision. I am hope that it is well known and loved by many. As for me, I often hear it playing in my mind!
I do not want to make a Musicology post about the song ! The cats, the song, the photos – some 20,000 all together, (not all can be published of course) led me to the idea to try to do a series of posts with the feline photos that we have accumulated over the years.
I haven’t decided yet how they will appear – daily or less frequently. I think that there will be only the cats that have been in our care, have been raised and cared for by us over the years (approximately 15 years) .There will be also photos of the cats that we have lost in all these years.
I didn’t take pictures from the very beginning as I was busy with other hobbies. In fact I’ve been photographing since 2009, so there are few pictures before 2009 – some scanned photos made with analog camera with film.
It may happen that some pictures have been published already. I will try to repeat myself as little as possible, but there will be repetitions, sometimes not perfectly identical photos.
I understand that not everyone is such a great admirer of felines, I am aware that some will opt not to visit the blog, but I understand them and it’s OK with me.
However, the passion is great and I must follow it.
Those who stay are welcomed with open arms, those who decide to leave – be blessed in everything you choose to do.
Who’s there ? Cine-i acolo ?
Am hotărât că pentru mi(au)ne anul acesta va fi „anul pisicii” ! De ceva vreme mă preocupă idea și am hotărât că acum e timpul. În realitate în zodiacul Vietnamez următorul Year of the cat va fi doar în anul 2023,dar eu n-am timp să aștept până atunci ! Melodia lui Al Stewart cu același nume,a fost determinantă. Sunt convins că e cunoscută multora și sper este și îndrăgită de mulți, mi se repetă… tot timpul în minte!
Nu vreau să fac post musicologic. Pisicile,melodia,fotografiile(s-au adunat vreo 20.000,dar desigur nu toate pot fi publicate) m-au determinat să încerc să fac o serie de postări cu fotografiile feline pe care le-am acumulat în decursul anilor.
Nu știu cum vor aprea, zilnic sau la intervale mai mari.Trebuie să se așeze toate gândurile.Vor fi și fotografii ale pisicilor care le-am pierdut în decursul anilor.Cred că vor fi doar pisicile care au fost în grija noastră,pe care le-am crescut și îngrijit în decursul anilor (aproximativ 15 ani).
Nu în toți acești ani am fotografiat. Au fost ani când mă ocupam cu alte hobby-uri.Fotografiez,de fapt din anul 2009.Înainte de 2009 nici nu prea sunt fotografii,poate ceva scanate,făcute cu aparat de fotografiat cu film.
Pasiunea e mare și trebuie să-i dau curs.Se poate întâmpla că unele poze au fost publicate deja.Mă voi străduii să mă repet cât mai puțin posibil,dar vor fi repetări,uneori nu perfect identice. Înțeleg că nu toți sunt admiratori atât de mari ai felinalor,sunt contient că mulți vor renunța la vizite pe blog,dar îi înțeleg și nu mă deranjează.Cine rămâne este binevenit și primit cu brațele deschise,iar cine pleacă să fie binecuvântat pe drumul pe care va merge !
